The story continues

well it's been a while again sorry i did say i'd be crap at this but oh well

my beautiful wifey has let be move the photoputer image editing suit in to the house for all of you that know my office that can only be a good thing right . well it means i'm no longer kicked out side to do the photo editing so me work can be done in the everning when the little mans gone to bed .it looks really good to (mrs isn't over the moon but we compromised ) twin 22" screens wancom tablet and cordless mouse and keyboard on a custom designed and built desk. all hidden wires and music . have i said before that i need music to work. creative work that is i need to imerse myself in it ,tune off to everything but the sound of the music (quite easy listerning really nina simmone dusty springfield duffy etc etc ) and the screen. then i can spend hours playing with the images that we have created untill i have exactly what i want (hopefully the cleints are quite pleased to )

the little man . today i've been looking after him while the mrs is doing the books bloody hell i'm knackered .so's he i don't really know who was looking after who and which one of us is more tired (me i think) any way i'm off to bed it's 22 10 and the duvet is calling.

i promise i will post again before to long

My inspiration for artisan images comes from my own wedding and the photographers that we were privileged to have. When illness made a career change necessary a lot of soul searching went on with regard to the way i wanted to go . in the end i wanted to stay self employed and do something that i had a passion for .

i love photography. showing the passion and love of the day is what i want to do

so here we are at the beginning of the new journey i will strive to bring my love of the day to the forefront designing and staging photography to suit my clients. If i can bring the same joy and fulfillment that our photographers bought to us it will make me and my clients very happy.

at the end of September i attended the mpa school of photography at Durham castle . it was a week long course very intense with the great and the good of the mpa teaching us and inspiring us to carve out our own style. over the next couple of weeks I'm going to be working on our new site www.artisanimages.co.uk hopefully i will be able to compete with the other sites around and grab the attention of a few brides .about 30 to 40 a year is my aim but we will just have to wait and see .

The start of the blog, Well I've done it this is the start of probably the most boring blog you will ever read . if indeed you bother .

my name is Dom needham ,I'm 35 married to Nikki with a son by the name of Isaac and a woof called Meggie we live in leicestershire and are pretty much a happy normal family .
I've ran my own company for the last 10 years and have a passion for photography.
not just snaps that you put the camera on auto and point and click but contemporary wedding photography that shows the love and passion of the couple , the joy of the day and provides them with memories that they will cherish for the rest of their lives . We use state of the art Nikon cameras and traditional photographic techniques to create fine art wedding photography .

over the following pages i will try to give you an insite into the way we operate and hopefully it will make a little bit of sense..

i will try to keep up to date with it if necessary give me a little nudge
